Position / Jobs : Operator
Salary : $2,060 – $3,090 per month

Position Summary:

Perform waste recycling, chemical blending, filling of chemicals, loading/unloading of ISO-tankers, chemical sampling at various locations and packing of finish products. Computer entry and various production/warehousing activities.

 

Job Description:

  1. Responsible to adhere to safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  2. Reporting to highlight any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  3. Responsible for day-to-day operation of distillation unit.
  4. Responsible for recycling of the waste and chemical blending.
  5. Responsible for filling of chemicals
  6. Responsible for loading/unloading of ISO-tankers.
  7. Responsible for chemical sampling at various locations to monitor product quality as per the specification.
  8. Responsible for packing of finished products.
  9. Responsible for SOPs writing and implementation.
  10. Responsible for Computer entry and various production/warehousing activities.
  11. Responsible for 5S.
  12. Support maintenance team in troubleshooting and raising workorders for PM and CM.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/or similar discipline.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related environment.
  3. Ability to read, write and speak English for work purposes
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft software and SAP system.
  5. Familiarize in PLC operations.
 

Additional Information:

  1. Comfortable to perform 12 hour rotating shift.
  2. Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  3. Responding to Emergencies in the Workplace.
  4. Ability to expose to various chemicals and compounds including fumes and smells [Hazardous chemicals].
  5. Require entering confined spaces and perform work in elevated environment.
  6. Valid Forklift license.
