Position / Jobs : Operator
Salary : $2,060 – $3,090 per month
Position Summary:
Perform waste recycling, chemical blending, filling of chemicals, loading/unloading of ISO-tankers, chemical sampling at various locations and packing of finish products. Computer entry and various production/warehousing activities.
Job Description:
- Responsible to adhere to safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reporting to highlight any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Responsible for day-to-day operation of distillation unit.
- Responsible for recycling of the waste and chemical blending.
- Responsible for filling of chemicals
- Responsible for loading/unloading of ISO-tankers.
- Responsible for chemical sampling at various locations to monitor product quality as per the specification.
- Responsible for packing of finished products.
- Responsible for SOPs writing and implementation.
- Responsible for Computer entry and various production/warehousing activities.
- Responsible for 5S.
- Support maintenance team in troubleshooting and raising workorders for PM and CM.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/or similar discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related environment.
- Ability to read, write and speak English for work purposes
- Familiarity with Microsoft software and SAP system.
- Familiarize in PLC operations.
Additional Information:
- Comfortable to perform 12 hour rotating shift.
- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Responding to Emergencies in the Workplace.
- Ability to expose to various chemicals and compounds including fumes and smells [Hazardous chemicals].
- Require entering confined spaces and perform work in elevated environment.
- Valid Forklift license.
